SolidWorks Modeling Service for Parts That Need to Be Made
LayerForge creates and modifies SolidWorks models for mechanical parts, fabricated assemblies and practical shop-floor projects. Start from a sketch, old drawing, STEP file, photo, measurements or an existing model that needs changes.
Work is approached with 26 years of sheet-metal and fabrication experience plus about 10 years working in SolidWorks, so manufacturability stays part of the conversation.

New parts and assemblies
Create parametric parts, weldments, brackets, frames, guards, adapters, fixtures and other mechanical designs from available requirements.
Modify existing CAD
Move holes, change dimensions, revise mounting features, clean up feature trees, add configurations or update a model after a design change.
Imported geometry cleanup
Work with STEP, STP, Parasolid or mesh-based references when a vendor model or imported file needs to become more usable.
Model-to-drawing package
Pair the finished model with fabrication or machining drawings, dimensions, notes and export files when needed.
